How an investor relations engagement runs

From a first look at your shareholder base to a program measured by real results.

Step 1

Start with how the market sees you

Before we write a word, we study your shareholder base, your peer group and what analysts already say about you. That shows where your story is being misread, and who needs to hear it next.

Step 2

Put your story in front of the right investors

We sharpen the message, then take it to the analysts and investors who should hear it through targeted outreach, roadshows and conferences. The senior people who won your business do the work, backed by a capital markets network built over more than 25 years.

Step 3

Measured every quarter, not every year

Every quarter, we report who engaged, how your shareholder base changed and what we’ll do next, measured against goals we agree on at the start. The program is judged on outcomes, not activity.

// Our approach

From the outset of every engagement, we work to understand your company from your perspective.

We then distill your message into a story that aligns with your corporate goals while maximizing engagement and visibility with your desired audience.

We understand the mindsets and motivations of investors and analysts, and we use that information to build out communications programs that drive superior outcomes.

What does an investor relations engagement include?

From investor presentations and fact sheets, to financial and operational releases, shareholder communication and engagement, investor targeting and corporate access, earnings reporting and perception studies – we provide everything needed to communicate strategically and consistently to your investor audience.

Do you write the earnings materials themselves?

Yes: the release, the script, the Q&A, and the investor deck, are all drafted to survive the tough questions investors often ask and is reviewed with your counsel before it goes out.

Who actually runs the account?

The senior people who pitched you. We work inside your existing team or stand in as your communications lead; there is no handover to a junior bench.

How do you measure success of investor relations campaigns?

We measure success by defining and executing strategic goals laddering up to our client’s unique overall objectives.

How do you find the right investors?

Through investor targeting and corporate access. We match the story to the funds whose mandate fits it, then arrange the meetings, roadshows, and conference slots that put management in front of them.

What is a perception study?

A structured set of interviews with investors and analysts about how they see the company. Perception studies are a great way to see where the story lands, where it does not, and what to change.

Do you prepare management for investor meetings and events?

Yes. Analyst and investor days, roadshows, and conference presentations all come with message preparation, rehearsal, and a Q&A document built from the questions investors actually ask.

Do you work with companies before they are public?

Yes. Private growth companies, businesses heading for an IPO or a de-SPAC, and established issuers all run the same narrative work; what changes is how much of it is on the record.

Can you work alongside our in-house IR team?

Depending on your company’s unique needs, we integrate fully within your existing team or can also function as your standalone investor relations lead.

What are your pricing options?

Please contact us directly to get a better understanding of pricing options. Upon review of your business and needs, we can provide a detailed scope of work and pricing structure.

Do you track changes in the shareholder base?

Yes. We follow the shareholder base over time to see whether the investors we target are the ones building positions.

How do you know the message is landing?

From the feedback we collect after meetings and calls, from the questions analysts ask, and from perception studies that put the same questions to the market at intervals.

What should we expect in the first year?

Materials that hold up under scrutiny, a calendar of investor events, a growing list of qualified conversations, and a clearer read on how the market sees your company.
